This site uses multiple sensors, and possibly sensor types, to measure gage height. The final usable published data series is presented as the Primary Sensor. The Secondary and Tertiary Sensors are used to fill in for the Primary Sensor when the Primary Sensor is either damaged or less accurate.

A red line on the gage height graph indicates the minimum or maximum operational gage height limits of the respective sensor.

This gage was reinstated on July 11, 2016 at a new datum of 2136.81 ft above NAVD88. Prior to this date, datum of the gage was 2134.15 ft. above NGVD29.

Station is operated for high-flow conditions only. Discharge is only provided above 300 ft^3/s.

The datum of gage has been determined to be 2136.81 feet above NAVD 1988. To obtain stream water-surface elevation values in NAVD 1988 add 2136.81 feet to gage height values.

This station managed by the San Angelo Field Unit.
