LOCATION.--Lat 48° 47'40", long 116° 25'00" (NAD27), in SW1/4 sec. 24, T.63 N., R.1 W., Boundary County, Farnham Peak quad., Hydrologic Unit 17010104, 0.75 mi upstream from mouth, and 8.2 mi northwest of Bonners Ferry.
DRAINAGE AREA.--26.6 mi2.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--May 1928 to September 1934 (no winter records), September 1971 to September 1979 (discontinued).
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage is 1,820 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map. June 1928 to September 1934, nonrecording gage at site 30 ft downstream at same datum.
REMARKS.--Diversions above station varies from 10 ft3/s during high stages to approximately 50 percent of flow during July to September.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge, 2,180 ft/s June 17, 1974,
gage height, 7.27 ft; minimum discharge observed, 0.95 ft/s Aug. 23, 24, 1977;
minimum gage height, 2.61 ft, Sept. 12-19, 1973.
