USGS 13044000 HENRYS FORK AT WARM RIVER ID

LOCATION.--Lat 44° 07', long 111° 20' (NAD27), in sec.12, T.9 N., R.43 E., Fremont County, Warm River quad., Hydrologic Unit 17040202, 1,000 ft upstream from Warm River, and 0.5 mi northwest of Warm River Railroad siding.

DRAINAGE AREA.--656 mi2.

PERIOD OF RECORD.--September 1910 to March 1915, April 1918 to September 1952 (discontinued). Prior to 1911, published as North Fork Snake River at Warm River.

REVISED RECORDS.--WSP 1317: Drainage area.

GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage is 5,257 ft above NGVD of 1929, from river-profile map. Prior to June 29, 1923, staff gage, and June 29, 1923 to Sept. 19, 1938, water-stage recorder at site several hundred feet downstream at same datum.

REMARKS.--Flow regulated by Henrys Lake (sta 13039000) and Island Park Reservoir (sta 13042000). Diversion for irrigation upstream of about 18,000 acres of wild hay meadows.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge, 3,540 ft3/s May 18, 1927; maximum gage height, 7.80 ft, Apr. 27, 1946; minimum, 217 ft3/s Dec. 11-12, 1949, gage height, 3.12 ft.
