USGS 13053500 SPRING CREEK NR TETONIA ID

LOCATION.--Lat 43° 50'30", long 111° 07'00" (NAD27), in SW1/4 SW1/4 sec.14, T.6 N., R.45 E., Teton County, ID, Clawson (ID,WY) quad., Hydrologic Unit 17040204, 110 ft downstream from source of creek at spring, and 3 mi northeast of Tetonia.

PERIOD OF RECORD.--June 1946 to October 1950 (discontinued).

GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage is 6,170 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map. Prior to Aug. 1, 1949, water-stage recorder 100 ft upstream at different datum.

REMARKS.--One diversion for irrigation above station. The total yearly diversions were as follows: 1946, 131 ft3/s; 1947, 150 ft3/s; 1948, 10 ft3/s; 1949, 137 ft3/s; 1950, 512 ft3/s. Flow is output from spring.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge, 16 ft3/s Apr. 13, 1950, gage height, 0.89; minimum, 0.9 ft3/s Mar. 16, 17, 1950.
