LOCATION.--Lat 43° 13'25", long 112° 20'12" (NAD27), in NE1/4 sec.27, T.2 S., R.35 E., Bingham County, Blackfoot quad., Hydrologic Unit 17040206, 0.2 mi below Porterville Bridge, immediately below heading of Danskin Canal, and 3.0 mi north of Blackfoot. Station was formerly at Porterville Bridge, above heading of Danskin Canal.

DRAINAGE AREA.--9,940 mi2, approximately.

PERIOD OF RECORD.--May 1918 to October 1923 (discontinued). June to September 1916, at Porterville Bridge site above heading of Danskin Canal (estimated capacity, 200 ft3/s).

GAGE.--Water-stge recorder. Elevation of gage is 4,480 ft above NGVD, from river-profile map. June to September 1916, staff gage 0.33 mi upstream at different datum. May to September 1918, staff gage at described site and datum.

REMARKS.--Many diversions for irrigation above station. Some regulation by Jackson Lake.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge, 46,900 ft3/s June 17, 18, 1918, gage height, 13.5 ft; minimum, 30 ft3/s Sept. 16, 1919.
