LOCATION.--Lat 42° 31'40", long 112° 51'40" (NAD27), in NE1/4 NW1/4 sec.29, T.10 S., R.31 E., Power County, Rockland East quad., Hydrologic Unit 17040209, on right bank 10 ft upstream from culvert on private road, 3.75 mi upstream from East Fork, and 3 mi south of Rockland.
DRAINAGE AREA.--185.5 mi2(Rev.2008). Mean elevation, 5,670 ft.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--May 1955 to September 1960 (discontinued).
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage is 4,720 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map.
REMARKS.--Practically entire flow diverted for irrigation above station during growing season. Discharge measurements of East Fork made about once a month to supplement this record.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge, 275 ft3/s Mar. 6, 1960,
gage height, 6.21 ft, from rating curve extended above 70 ft3/s on basis
of slope-area measurement at gage height 6.10 ft;
no flow for long periods in each year.
