USGS 13108500 CAMAS CREEK AT 18MI SHEARING CORRAL NR KILGORE ID

LOCATION.--Lat 44° 18'02", long 111° 54'19"(Rev.)(NAD83), in NW1/4 sec.7, T.11 N., R.39 E., Clark County, Idmon quad., Hydrologic Unit 17040214, at old bridge immediately downstream from Eighteenmile Shearing Corral, 7 mi south of Kilgore, and 18.5 mi northeast of Dubois.

DRAINAGE AREA.--221 mi2, revised.

PERIOD OF RECORD.--May 1937 to October 1953 (no winter record prior to 1947), April 1969 to September 1973 (discontinued).

GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage is 5,260 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map. Prior to Sept. 23, 1938, at datum 1.21 ft higher.

REMARKS.--Diversions above station for irrigation of about 7,500 acres (1966 determination).

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge, 2,590 ft3/s May 8, 1969, gage height, 7.04 ft; no flow for short periods in February 1949.
