LOCATION.--Lat 44° 02'48", long 113° 55'13"(Rev.)(NAD83), in SE1/4 SW1/4 sec.1, T.8 N., R.21 E., Custer County, Hydrologic Unit 17040218, Chilly Buttes quad., on right bank 600 ft downstream from heading of Chilly Canal, 0.25 mi downstream from Naef and Davidson Canals, and 3 mi southwest of Chilly.
DRAINAGE AREA.--468 mi2, revised.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--April 1921 to September 1922 (discontinued).
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage is 6,390 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map.
REMARKS.--Diversions above station for irrigation above and below station, which include Chilly Canal (capacity 60 ft3/s), Naef Canal (capacity 15 ft3/s), Davidson Canal (capacity 45 ft3/s), and several small ranch ditches.
COOPERATION.--Gage-height recorder and several discharge measurements furnished by water commissioner for Big Lost River.
