USGS 13121500 BIG LOST RIVER AT CHILLY BRIDGE NR CHILLY ID

LOCATION.--Lat 44° 03'34", long 113° 52'37"(Rev.)(NAD83), in NE1/4 NW1/4 sec.5, T.8 N., R.22 E., Custer County, Hydrologic Unit 17040218, Chilly Buttes quad., on left bank just downstream from highway bridge, about 1.5 mi south of Chilly.

DRAINAGE AREA.--474 mi2, revised.

PERIOD OF RECORD.--June to September 1920 (discontinued).

GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage is 6,320 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map.

REMARKS.--Several diversions for irrigation above station. No regulation.

COOPERATION.--Gage-height record furnished by Upper Big Lost River Water Users Association. Several discharge measurements furnished by water commissioner for Big Lost River.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge recorded, 714 ft3/s June 30, 1920, gage height, 3.30 ft; no flow July 27 to Sept. 30, 1920.
