USGS 13136500 WARM SPRINGS CR AT GUYER HOT SPRINGS NR KETCHUM ID

LOCATION.--Lat 43° 41'00", long 114° 24'37" (NAD83), NE1/4 sec.15, T.4 N., R.17 E., Blaine County, Griffin Butte quad., Hydrologic Unit 17040219, at Guyer Hot Springs, 2.1 mi upstream from mouth, and 2.2 mi west of Ketchum.

DRAINAGE AREA.--94.1 mi2, revised.

PERIOD OF RECORD.--November 1940 to April 1959 (discontinued).

GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage is 5,901.7 ft above mean sea level, from river-profile survey. Prior to Mar. 7, 1942, staff gage at same site and datum.

REMARKS.--Diversions above station for irrigation of about 200 acres (1950 determination). Small diversion from Guyer Hot Springs for recreational purposes bypasses station.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge, 961 ft3/s May 21, 1958, gage height, 4.18 ft; minimum, 6 ft3/s Feb. 29, 1944, gage height, 0.55 ft, result of ice jam upstream; minimum gage height, -0.13 ft, Jan. 3, 1959; minimum daily discharge, 17 ft3/s Dec. 17, 1946.
