USGS 13140500 BIG WOOD RIVER AT GLENDALE BRIDGE NR BELLEVUE ID

LOCATION.--Lat 43° 25'34", long 114° 15'39"(Rev.)(NAD83), on line between sec.12 and 13, T.1 N., R.18 E., Blaine County, Bellevue quad., Hydrologic Unit 17040219, on center pier of the Glendale Bridge, and 2.5 mi southwest of Bellevue.

DRAINAGE AREA.--720 mi2, revised.

PERIOD OF RECORD.--May 1920 to August 1921 (discontinued).

GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage is 5,075 ft above sea level, by barometer.

REMARKS.--Numerous diversions for irrigation above station.

COOPERATION.--Gage height record and several discharge measurements furnished by water master for Big Wood and Little Wood rivers.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge observed, 3,330 ft3/s June 12, 1921, gage height, 4.53 ft, from rating curve extended above 2,200 ft3/s; minimum not determined.
