LOCATION.--Lat 42° 57'29", long 115° 21'58"(Rev.)(NAD83), in SW1/4 NE1/4 SE1/4 sec.27, T.5 S., R.9 E., Elmore County, Hydrologic Unit 17050101, Glenns Ferry quad., about 0.2 mi (Rev.) upstream from mouth, and 3.4 mi west of Glenns Ferry.

DRAINAGE AREA.--40.1 mi2, revised.

PERIOD OF RECORD.--April 1985 to September 1987 (discontinued).

GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage is 2,450 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map.

REMARKS.--Flow is regulated by many diversions upstream for stock water and irrigation. At times during irrigation season, water is diverted into Alkali Creek from other basins.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge, 470 ft3/s Feb. 18, 1986, gage height, 8.50 ft, on basis of slope-area measurement of peak flow; minimum daily, 0.25 ft3/s Apr. 15, 1987.
