LOCATION.--Lat 42° 56'45", long 115° 25'52" (NAD27), in SE1/4 SE1/4 NW1/4 sec.31, T.6 S., R.9 E., Elmore County, Hydrologic Unit 17050101, Hammett quad., on downstream left bank side of old U.S. Highway 30 crossing, and 1.8 mi east of Hammett.

DRAINAGE AREA.--68.4 mi2, revised.

PERIOD OF RECORD.--April 1985 to September 1987 (discontinued). 1980 miscellaneous measurement only. November 1909 to June 1913, sporadic, not comparable.

GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage is 2,490 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map. Prior to April 1985, non-recording gage at different datum.

REMARKS.--Diversions above station for irrigation. Interbasin transfer of water from King Hill Canal, at times.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge, 1,400 ft3/s Feb. 18, 1986, gage height, 8.75 ft, result of slope-area measurement of peak flow; no flow at times most years.
