USGS 13170700 LITTLE VALLEY MUTUAL CANAL NR BRUNEAU ID

LOCATION.--Lat 42° 55'18", long 115° 57'06"(Rev.)(NAD83), in SW1/4 NE1/4 NW1/4 sec.11, T.6 S., R.4 E., Owyhee County, C.J. Strike Dam quad., Hydrologic Unit 17050101, on left bank at road crossing and 5 mi west of Bruneau.

PERIOD OF RECORD.--April 1985 to November 1997 (irrigation seasons only)(discontinued).

GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage is 2,670 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map.

REMARKS.--Canal carries water pumped from C.J. Strike Reservoir.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum daily discharge, 71 ft3/s Aug. 23, 1994; no flow for long periods each year.
