USGS 13173000 SUCCOR CREEK NR HOMEDALE ID

LOCATION.--Lat 43° 33'22", long 117° 05'27"(Rev.)(NAD83), in NW1/4 sec.21, T.23 S., R.46 E., Malheur County, Oregon, Graveyard Point quad., Hydrologic Unit 17050103, on left bank 100 yards downstream from house on Isaac's ranch, and 12 mi southwest of Homedale.

DRAINAGE AREA.--417 mi2, approximately.

PERIOD OF RECORD.--May 1919 to September 1923 (discontinued). Previously published as "Sucker Creek near Homedale".

GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage is 2,495 ft above NGVD of 1929, by barometer. Prior to Aug. 1, 1919, staff gage at same site and datum.

REMARKS.--No regulation. Small ranch diversions above station divert practically entire flow during late irrigation season.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge, 1,080 ft3/s Jan. 16, 1920, gage height, 6.23 ft; stream practically dry for several months each year.
