LOCATION.--Lat 44° 04'57", long 115° 36'45" (NAD83), in SW1/4 SE1/4 sec.27, T.9 N., R.7 E., Boise County, Lowman quad., Hydrologic Unit 17050120, Boise National Forest, at State Highway 21 bridge in Lowman, and 550 ft upstream from mouth.

DRAINAGE AREA.--57.1 mi2, revised.

PERIOD OF RECORD.--May 1941 to January 1949 (discontinued).

GAGE.--Staff gage. Elevation of gage is 3,820 ft above NGVD of 1929, from river-profile map. Prior to Jan. 9, 1946 at site 350 ft downstream at different datum.

REMARKS.--Feeder canal for small powerplant diverts 1 mi above gage; water is returned to creek above station, except for that used for irrigation.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge observed, 754 ft3/s May 31, 1943, gage height, 5.32 ft; maximum gage height, 6.10 ft, Jan. 9, 10, 1942 (ice jam), site and datum then in use; minimum daily, 16 ft3/s Dec. 10, 1944.
