LOCATION.--Lat 44° 04'56", long 115° 39'38"(Rev.)(NAD83), in SE1/4 SW1/4 sec.29, T.9 N., R.7 E., Boise County, Pine Flat quad., Hydrologic Unit 17050120, Boise National Forest, on left bank 700 ft upstream from mouth, and 2.5 mi west of Lowman.

DRAINAGE AREA.--237 mi2, revised.

PERIOD OF RECORD.--August 1921 to January 1953 (discontinued).

REVISED RECORDS.--WSP 633: Drainage area.

GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage is 3,680 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map.

REMARKS.--Flow regulated by Deadwood Reservoir beginning November 1930. (Capacity about 160,400 acre-ft). Since 1936, small diversion from tributary of Johnson Creek in Salmon River basin to Deadwood River basin.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge, 4,230 ft3/s May 9, 1928, gage height, 5.17 ft, from rating curve extended above 3,200 ft3/s; minimum recorded, 28 ft3/s Nov. 4, 1935, gage height, 0.83 ft.
