LOCATION.--Lat 44° 35'23", long 116° 44'15"(Rev.)(NAD83), in SE1/4 sec.31, T.15 N., R.3 W., Washington County, Cambridge quad., Hydrologic Unit 17050124, on right bank 300 fr upstream from West Fork, and 3.2 mi northwest of Cambridge.

PERIOD OF RECORD.--April 1938 to September 1962 (discontinued).

GAGE.--Staff gage. Elevation of gage is 2,800 ft above NGVD of 1929, by barometer. Prior to Mar. 7, 1951, staff gages at nearby sites at present datum (1962).

REMARKS.--Several diversions above station for irrigation.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge observed, 850 ft3/s Feb. 25, 1958, gage height, 4.5 ft, from floodmark, from rating curve extended above 300 ft3/s on basis of slope-area measurement of peak flow; minimum observed discharge, 0.7 ft3/s Aug. 3, 1949, July 13, 14, 1954; minimum gage height observed, 0.29 ft, Aug. 5, 1952.

EXTREMES OUTSIDE PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge, 970 ft3/s Jan. 1, 1997.
