LOCATION.--Lat 44° 23'30", long 116° 53'40"(Rev.)(NAD83), in SE1/4 NE1/4 sec.11, T.12 N., R.5 W., Washington County, Mann Creek NW quad., Hydrologic Unit 17050124, in slide gate control house at downstream toe of dam, 10.5 mi northeast of Weiser, and at mile 11.4.

DRAINAGE AREA.--56.0 mi2.

PERIOD OF RECORD.--March 1967 to September 1970 (discontinued).

REVISED RECORDS.--WDR ID-69: 1968(m).

GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage is 2,800 ft, from topographic map. Prior to May 6, 1969, nonrecording gage at same site and datum.

REMARKS.--Reservoir is formed by earth-fill dam with rock face. Construction of dam began in 1965, was completed in 1967, and closure of dam was made Mar. 27, 1967. Usable contents, 13,510 acre-ft between elevations 2,825 ft and 2,897.1 ft (top of spillway outlet tower). Top of dam is 2,903.0 ft. Dead storage below 2,822 ft is 1,610 acre-ft. Water is used for irrigation and for conservation. Figures given represent usable contents.

COOPERATION.--Record collected in cooperation with and capacity table furnished by U.S. Bureau of Reclamation.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum contents observed, 11,300 acre-ft, May 9, 1969, May 5-9, 17-26, 1970; maximum elevation observed, 2,889.8 ft, May 5-9, 17-26, 1970; minimum contents observed since fill in 1967, 2,610 acre-ft, Oct. 10-13, 1967, elevation, 2,848.4 ft.
