LOCATION.--Lat 44° 02', long 114° 50' (NAD27), in sec.8, T.8 N., R.14 E., Custer County, Obsidian quad., Hydrologic Unit 17060201, on right bank about 0.5 mi downstream from Fourth of July Creek, about 3.5 mi downstream and northwest of Pierson (old townsite), about 14 mi southeast of Stanley, and at approximately mile 391.3.
DRAINAGE AREA.--235 mi2.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--September 1911 to September 1913 (discontinued).
GAGE.--Sloping staff gage. Elevation of gage is 6,760 ft, by barometer. Dec. 23, 1910 to June 4, 1911, staff gage at same site at different datum. Gage destroyed by high water on June 5, 1911. No discharge data computed for that period. Relation of datums unknown.
REMARKS.--No known diversion or regulation.
