USGS 13341500 POTLATCH RIVER AT KENDRICK ID

LOCATION.--Lat 46° 36'44", long 116° 39'28"(Rev.)(NAD83), in NE1/4 NW1/4 sec.25, T.38 N., R.3 W., Latah County, Juliaetta quad., Hydrologic Unit 17060306, near center of main span on upstream side of Mill Street bridge in Kendrick, 0.9 mi downstream from Bear Creek, and 3.2 mi upstream from Middle Potlatch Creek.

DRAINAGE AREA.--455 mi2, revised. Mean elevation, 2,980 ft.

PERIOD OF RECORD.--October 1945 to September 1960 (discontinued).

REVISED RECORDS.--WSP 1093: 1945(M). WSP 1567: Drainage area.

GAGE.--Wire-weight gage read once daily. Datum of gage is 1,178.20 ft above NGVD of 1929, supplementary adjustments of 1947 and 1960. Aug. 17, 1957 to Jan. 31, 1960, wire-weight gage and crest-stage gage.

REMARKS.--No regulation or diversion above station.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum dischargeobserved, 13,000 ft3/s Feb. 26, 1948, gage height, 12.6 ft, result of slope-area measurement of peak flow; minimum discharge observed, 4.3 ft3/s Aug. 25, 1946; minimum gage height observed, 3.28 ft Oct. 12-16, 1945.
