LOCATION.--Lat 46° 11'20", long 116° 38'49" (NAD27), in SW1/4 NE1/4 sec.24, T.33 N., R.3 W., Lewis County, Winchester West quad., Hydrologic Unit 17060306, at county road crossing, and 4 mi southwest of Winchester.

DRAINAGE AREA.--16.1 mi2, revised.

PERIOD OF RECORD.--December 1940 to September 1945 (discontinued).

GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage is 4,205 ft above NGVD of 1929, from river-profile map.

REMARKS.--No diversion above station.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge, 176 ft3/s Apr. 1, 1943, from rating curve extended above 90 ft3/s; maximum gage height, 3.67 ft, Jan. 17, 1943, ice jam; no flow Nov. 15-21, 1944.
