This well is part of the Eastern Arbuckle Simpson Aquifer Hydrology Study funded by the Oklahoma Water Resources Board, Oka': the Water Institute at East Central University, and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
Sites are visited once every two months and data are subsequently analyzed for accuracy. This site may experience sharp fluxes in water level due to the presence of conduits and fractures, which may contribute large volumes of water to the well following precipitation events, creating a cascading effect.
