LOCATION.--Lat 39°31'58", long 76°30'26", referenced to North American Datum of 1927, 
   Harford County, MD, Hydrologic Unit 02060003, at Gunpowder State Park, Hess. 
AQUIFER.--Loch raven Schist. Aquifer code: 370LCRV.
WELL CHARACTERISTICS.--Drilled, observation, water-table well, depth 200 ft; casing diameter 6 in., 
   top of first opening 23 ft, bottom of last opening 200 ft; open hole below 23 ft.
DATUM.--Elevation of land surface is 470 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929.
   Measuring Point: Top of recorder shelter platform 1.68 ft above land surface.
REMARKS.--Maryland Groundwater-Level Monitoring Network observation well.
   U.S. Geological Survey satellite data-collection platform at well.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--July 1974 to current year.
COOPERATION.--Funding for the operation of this station is provided by the Maryland Geological 
   Survey, and the U. S. Geological Survey.
This station managed by the MD-DE-DC Water Science Center Baltimore office.
