LOCATION.--Lat 48° 18'35", long 116° 32'59" (NAD27), in SW1/4 SE1/4 SE1/4 sec.3, T.57 N., R.2 W., Bonner County, Sandpoint quad., Hydrologic Unit 17010214, on right bank 40 ft upstream from county road (Schweitzer Cutoff), 0.15 mi downstream from Little Sand Creek, 0.2 mi west of Highway 95, 2.4 mi north of Sandpoint City Hall, and 2.6 mi from mouth at Pend Oreille Lake.

DRAINAGE AREA.--36.6 mi2.

PERIOD OF RECORD.--October 1988 to October 1990, April 1991 to September 1993 (discontinued).

GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage is 2,070.00 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map.

REMARKS.--No regulation or diversion above station.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge, 1,510 ft3/s Jan. 9, 1990, gage height, 9.01 ft; minimum daily discharge, 2.4 ft3/s Aug. 20, Sept. 3, 4, 1992.
