LOCATION.--Lat 43° 03'32", long 112° 41'23" (NAD27), in NW1/4 NW1/4 SW1/4 sec.23, T.4 S., R.32 E., Bingham County, Hydrologic Unit 17040206, Springfield quad., on right bank of upstream wingwall of county road bridge 1.5 mi south of Springfield.

PERIOD OF RECORD.--May 1980 to September 1981, April 1985 to September 1988 (discontinued). Miscellaneous measurements only 1926-29, 1932-77.

GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage is 4,365 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map. May 1980 to September 1981, located 20 ft upstream at different datum.

REMARKS.--Flows affected by irrigation return flows.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge (at 1980-81 site), 100 ft3/s Aug. 12, 1981, gage height, 5.12 ft, from failure of irrigation canal; minimum, 44 ft3/s Apr. 12, 13, 1981, gage height, 4.43 ft. Maximum daily discharge (at 1985-88 site), 82 ft3/s Feb. 18, 1986; minimum, 47 ft3/s Feb. 21, 1988, gage height, 4.16 ft.
