> Site Information
LOCATION.--Lat 40°42'25", long 73°45'33" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Queens County, NY, Hydrologic Unit 02030202, at 109th Avenue, between 199th Street and 200th Street, St Albans.
WELL CHARACTERISTICS.--Depth 65 ft. Upper casing diameter 2 in; top of first opening 55 ft, bottom of last opening 60 ft.
DATUM.--Land-surface datum is 49 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: Top of coupling, 0.56 ft below land-surface datum, 48.44 ft above land-surface datum, Oct. 2, 2002 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--August 2003 to August 2014, March 2024 to current year.
GAGE.--Water level recorder installed August 2003 to September 2013. Periodic manual measurements by USGS personnel.
REMARKS.--Replaced well Q3163.1 in August 2003 near same location.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Highest water level recorded, 33.94 ft above NGVD of 1929, Apr. 26, 27, 2010; lowest recorded, 23.08 ft above NGVD of 1929, Jan. 9, 2004.
