bank 250 ft downstream from bridge on State Highway 104, 2.9 mi
upstream from Sweitzers Run and 0.8 mi northeast of Penns Creek,
PA.
DRAINAGE AREA.--301 square miles.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--October 1929 to current year. Prior
to October 1965, published as Penn Creek at Penns Creek.
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage.
Datum of gage is 506.64 ft. above North American Vertical Datum of
1988. Oct 1929 to Feb 1, 1930, non-recording gage at same site and
datum. Prior to September 5, 2023, the datum of gage was reported as
507.38 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Datum of gage
was also previously reported as 506.72 ft above datum of 1912.

both banks; several homes and cottages on the left or north bank are
affected; many secondary roads along the creek are closed; Major flood
stage-12 ft, significant overflow of both banks occurs; numerous homes
are affected by high water.
