LOCATION - Lat 42°22'17", long 71°16'31" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Middlesex County, MA, Hydrologic Unit 01090001, on left bank, 750 upstream from Stony Brook, 1,500 ft north of Rt 20, and 0.7 mi southeast of Kendall Green.
DRAINAGE AREA - 2.23 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - June 2006 to October 2008 (discontinued). Restarted July 2010 to October 2015 (discontinued).
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage is 100 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, from topographic map.
COOPERATION - Cambridge Water Department.
REMARKS - Records fair except those for estimated daily discharge, which are poor. Flows are affected by occasional upstream regulation.

SPECIFIC CONDUCTANCE: Maximum instantaneous specific conductance: 1,080 µS/cm on Jun. 08, 2016; Minimum instantaneous specific conductance: 559 µS/cm on Oct. 05, 2015. Water temperature records are rated as excellent. Specific conductance records are rated as excellent, except for the following daily ranges: 2015/11/03 to 2015/12/09, 2016/01/05 to 2016/01/11, 2016/01/13 to 2016/01/21, 2016/01/27, 2016/02/02 to 2016/02/08, 2016/04/26 to 2016/04/27, 2016/06/07 to 2016/06/08, and 2016/07/12 to 2016/07/21 are rated good; 2016/01/28 to 2016/02/01, 2016/06/06, and 2016/06/09 are rated fair; and 2016/01/22 to 2016/01/26, 2016/05/10, 2016/06/03 to 2016/06/05, and 2016/06/10 to 2016/06/15 are rated poor.
