LOCATION - Lat 40°03'33", long 82°20'23" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Licking County, OH, Hydrologic Unit 05040006, gage house on roadside of Staddens Bridge Road, on left bank of river, park in gravel parking lot across the street from gage. 1 mi downstream from Shawnee Run, 1.5 mi upstream from Equality Run, and 3.5 mi east of Newark.
DRAINAGE AREA - 537 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WSP 973: 1940(M). WSP 1907: Drainage area.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1939 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 778.28 ft (NAVD 1988) (levels by US Army Corps of Engineers). Prior to October, 2010, datum of gage was 779.02 ft (NGVD 1929). Prior to May 9, 1940, nonrecording gage at same site and datum.
REMARKS -

Records for 2014 WY were rated fair, except for estimated periods, which were poor. Records for Oct. 1, 2014 to Jun. 9, 2015 rated fair, except for estimated periods, which were poor. Records for Jun. 9, 2015 to Sep. 9, 2015 were rated good. Records for Sep. 9, 2015 to Nov. 2, 2015 were rated fair. Nov. 3, 2015 to Jul. 18, 2016: discharge records fair except for estimated records, which are poor. Jul. 19, 2016 to Jan. 17, 2017: discharge records poor. Jan. 18, 2017 to Jul. 14, 2017: discharge records fair. Jul. 15, 2017 to Aug. 11, 2017: discharge records good. Aug. 12, 2017 to Mar. 20, 2018: records poor. Mar. 21, 2018 to Nov. 20, 2018: records fair.
