LOCATION - Lat 39°54'31", long 81°51'38" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Muskingum County, OH, Hydrologic Unit 05040004, on left bank downstream of State Highway 146, 1 mi upstream from Buffalo Fork, 2 mi northwest of Chandlersville and 11 mi southeast of Zanesville.
DRAINAGE AREA - 75.7 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - January 1935 to September 1947. November 2000 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 677.76 ft (NAVD 1988). Prior to 1947 at site 300 ft upstream at different datum.
REMARKS -

Aug. 27, 2015 to Oct. 8, 2015: records good. Oct. 8, 2015 to Dec. 15, 2015: discharge records poor. July 12, 2016 to Nov. 10, 2016: discharge records fair, except for estimated records, which are poor. Nov. 11, 2016 to Jan. 19, 2017: discharge records fair except for estimated records, which are poor.  Jan. 20, 2017 to Nov. 30, 2017:  discharge records good except for estimated records, which are poor.
