LOCATION - Lat 40°06'27", long 83°47'57" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Champaign County, OH, Hydrologic Unit 05080001, on left bank at downstream side of bridge on U.S. Highway 36, 1.8 mi upstream from Dugan Run, 1.8 mi downstream from Muddy Creek, 2.5 mi west of Urbana, and at mile 39.7.
DRAINAGE AREA - 162 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WSP 1305; 1930(M), WSP 1505: 1956. WSP 1625: 1929. WSP 1908: Drainage area.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - September 1925 to September 1931, August 1939 to September 1998, October 1998 to September 2002, recording crest-stage gage; October 2002 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and concrete control. Datum of gage is 984.32 ft (NAVD 1988). Prior to May 18, 1930, nonrecording gage at datum 985.0 ft (1912 adjustment). May 18, 1930 to Sept. 30, 1931, nonrecording gage at site 600 ft downstream at datum 984.7 ft (1912 adjustment). Aug. 1 to Sept. 25, 1939, nonrecording gage at datum 985.0 ft (1912 adjustment) at present site. Sept. 25, 1939 to Sept. 30, 1964 at same datum and same site. Oct. 1, 1964 to Sept. 30, 2013 at datum 985.22 ft (NGVD 1929) at same site.
COOPERATION - Base data furnished by Miami Conservancy District.
REMARKS -

Records fair for 2014. Oct. 1, 2014 to Dec. 4, 2014: records good. Dec. 4, 2014 to Apr. 23, 2015: records good, except for estimated records, which are poor. Apr. 23, 2015 to Aug. 13, 2015: records good. Aug. 13, 2015 to Dec. 14, 2015: records good. Dec. 15, 2015 to Oct. 25, 2016: discharge records good. For the period Oct. 26, 2016 to Dec. 7, 2017, discharge records rated fair except for estimated discharges which are poor. Sediment data formerly collected at this site.  Dec. 8 to, 2017 to Nov. 21, 2018: discharge records good, except for estimated discharges which are poor.
