LOCATION - Lat 42°28'56", long 85°47'54" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in sec.12, T.1 N., R.13 W., Allegan County, MI, Hydrologic Unit 04050003, on South-East corner of bridge on 26th Street, 600 ft downstream from Trowbridge Dam, and 4.0 mi southeast of Allegan.
DRAINAGE AREA - 1,530 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - January 1903 to December 1907, October 2000 to September 2005, July 2022 to current year. Records for January 1903 to December 1907, published in WSP 97, 129, 170, 206 and 244. Records for Apr. 4, 1901, to Dec. 31, 1902, published in WSP 83 have been discredited and should not be used. 
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 638.05 ft above NAVD88. Prior to October 2000, gage located at powerplant 600 ft upstream.
REMARKS - Flow regulated by powerplant upstream from station.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum daily discharge, 10,260 ft³/s, Mar. 28, 1904; minimum daily, about 5 ft³/s, Nov. 8, 1903, estimated leakage through dam and powerplant.
