LOCATION - Lat 41°37'59", long 83°34'55" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Lucas County, OH, Hydrologic Unit 04100009, The gage is located in Toledo Ohio and is bracketed by Airport HWY to the North, South Ave to the South, Detroit Ave to the West, and the Anthony Wayne trail to the East. The stream gage is on the left bank on the upstream side of the Champion Street Bridge.
DRAINAGE AREA - 201 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - April 2015 to current year.
GAGE - Outside gage is a wire-weight gage attached to the downstream side of the bridge. Stage record begins on April, 2015. Gage datum 561.24 ft NAVD 1988.
REMARKS - Apr. 29, 2015 to Oct. 19, 2015: discharge records fair. Oct. 20, 2015 to Oct. 5, 2016: discharge records poor. Daily mean concentration and daily mean load records poor.
WATER-QUALITY RECORDS
REMARKS - Water-quality auto samples and manual samples are collected at this station as part of the Western Lake Erie Basin project. An ISCO auto sampler is housed in the gage house. Sampling includes: Suspended-sediment, Nitrogen, ammonia as N (00608), Nitrogen, ammonia + organic nitrogen (total, whole water or TKN; 00625), Nitrogen, nitrite + nitrate (filtered water; 00631), Phosphorus, phosphate, ortho (or soluble reactive phosphorus; 00671), and Phosphorus (total, whole water; 00665).
