LOCATION - Lat 41°37'51", long 81°24'13" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Lake County, OH, Hydrologic Unit 04110003, on left bank, 50 ft downstream from remains of city waterworks dam, 500 ft downstream from East Branch, 1 mi southeast of Willoughby, and 5 mi upstream from mouth.

DRAINAGE AREA - 246 mi².

GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 583.02 ft (NAVD 1988). August 4, 2005 to September 30, 2012, datum of gage was 594.57 ft (NGVD 1929). December 21,1939 to August 3, 2005 at site 200 downstream at 594.57 ft (NGVD 1929). Prior to Decemeber 20, 1939, nonrecording gage at site 100 ft upstream at 601.57 ft (NGVD 1929).

REMARKS -

WY 2016 to WY 2018; Records fair except for estimated daily discharges, which are poor. Water-quality and sediment data formerly collected at this site. Record quality will not be included in the water-year summary for approved records newer than 09/30/2019. Record quality is still being rated internally.
