REMARKS - Occasional regulation by sewage-treatment plants upstream from the gaging station. Since May 28, 1996, some flow temporarily diverted for flood control to Elmhurst Quarry Flood Control Reservoir 12.3 mi. upstream from gage. Flow may also periodically be affected by multiple dams with adjustable gates located 2.3 miles and 4.1 miles upstream.
