LOCATION - Lat 47°12'30.94", long 110°55'54.29" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Cascade County, MT, Hydrologic Unit 10030105, in NW 1/4 NW 1/4 SW 1/4 sec. 26, T.17 N., R.6 E., on left bank 0.8 miles upstream of Sluice Boxes State Park parking area and 8.7 miles northwest of Monarch, MT.
DRAINAGE AREA - 355 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR MT-2013: Drainage area.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - April 1951 to September 30, 1982, October 1, 2012 to present.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage is 3,980 ft, referenced to the North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Prior to September 13, 2012, gage was located at different site and datum. Temporary staff gage readings started Apr. 18, 1951, graphic water-stage recorder installed Apr. 22, 1951.
REMARKS - No regulation or diversion occurs upstream from station.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum peak flow from rating curve extended above 4,100 ft³/s on basis of slope-area measurement. Maximum peak stage from site and datum then in use, obtained from floodmark.
WATER-QUALITY RECORDS
