LOCATION - Lat 38°58'29", long 98°29'24" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NE 1/4 SW 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.25, T.12 S., R.11 W., Russell County, KS, Hydrologic Unit 10260010, on right bank 0.5 mi downstream from outlet of Wilson Dam, 9.0 mi upstream from Wolf Creek, 10 mi north of Wilson, and at mile 153.4.
DRAINAGE AREA - 1,917 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - March 1963 to current year.
GAGE -

Water-stage recorder. Current datum of gage is 1,427. 86 ft. above mean sea level. (NAVD88) Obtained July 8, 2021 with Trimble R10.

 Previous Datum of gage was 1,427.31 ft above NGVD of 1929. Prior to May 12, 1965, water-stage recorder at site 1.5 mi downstream at different datum. Satellite telemeter at station.

REMARKS - Flow completely regulated since 1964 by Wilson Lake (station 06868100), 0.5 mi upstream. Satellite telemeter at station.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge since closure of dam, 3320 cfs on April 6, 1973, gage-height 18.84 ft.
