LOCATION - Lat 36°56'04", long 94°44'49" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NE 1/4 SW 1/4 sec.05, T.28 N., R.24 E., Ottawa County, OK, Hydrologic Unit 11070207, near downstream right abutment of county road bridge, 0.1 mi upstream from Rock Creek, 3.0 mi southeast of Quapaw, and at mile 13.9.
DRAINAGE AREA - 2,516 mi². From automated delineation using 10-meter National Elevation Dataset digital elevation model data dated 10/01/2006 and Watershed Boundary Dataset dated 10/01/2006, using Albers Equal-Area Projection, North American Datum 1983.
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR 2012: Drainage area.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - July 1939 to current year.
GAGE - Datum of gage is 746.28 feet above NAVD of 1988. The NAVD of 1988 datum was determined by a Level II GNSS survey (Reference Frame NAD_83(2011) (EPOCH:2010.0000)  ITRF2014 (EPOCH:2020.6907) (GEOID18) by USGS on September 09, 2020 and tied to RM15. Prior to September 09, 2020 the datum of gage was 746.25 feet above NGVD of 1929 Unknown Details-See additional manuscripts for historical Datum info. 
REMARKS -

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum gage height for the period of record 46.60, was from floodmark on September 26 1993.
WATER-QUALITY RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Water years 1948-58, 1960-63, 1976-80, 1986, June 1988 to May 1989, March 2000 to September 2000, February 2004 to April 2006 and April 2018 to current water year.
REMARKS - Periodic samples were collected by the U.S. Geological Survey. Specific conductance, pH, water temperature, dissolved oxygen, and turbidity were determined in the field.
