LOCATION - Lat 35°17'05", long 99°37'18" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Beckham County, OK, Hydrologic Unit 11120302, on left bank at end of downstream bridge of Interstate 40, 1.2 miles upstream from the mouth of Deep Creek, 1.8 miles southeast of Sayre, and at mile 124.7.
DRAINAGE AREA - 2,464 mi² of which 580 mi² probably is noncontributing.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - May 1978 to September 1984 (discontinued). October 1, 1984 to June 10, 2021; October 1, 2022 to current (operated as high flow only station).
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 1,775.98 ft above NGVD of 1929.
REMARKS - 10/01/2021 - 09/30/2022: the gage was removed due to bridge construction; no data were collected. Quality of data for other periods can be obtained by contacting the Oklahoma-Texas Water Science Center. Gage equipment removed for bridge construction June 10, 2021.
