DRAINAGE AREA - 5,306 mi² of which 12 mi² probably is noncontributing. from automated delineation using 10-meter National Elevation Dataset digital elevation model data dated 10/01/2006 and Watershed Boundary Dataset dated 10/01/2006, using Albers Equal-Area Projection, North American Datum 1983.

on 2/23/2023. Prior to 2/23/2023 the datum of the gage was 849.61 ft above NGVD of 1929. During 1899, nonrecording gage at site 9 mi downstream, at different datum. Mar. 29, 1938, to Jan. 25, 1939, nonrecording gage and Jan. 26, 1939, to Oct. 6, 1948, water-stage recorder at site 0.7 mi upstream, at datum 1.53 ft higher. Mar. 11, 1975, to Jan. 26, 1981, water-stage recorder at site 200 ft upstream, and at same datum. From Jan 26, 1981 to January 18, 2012, gage datum was 5.00 ft higher.
