LOCATION - Lat 36°06'28.98", long 115°01'19.18" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NW 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.23, T.21 S., R.62 E., Clark County, NV, Hydrologic Unit 15010015, on left bank, .4 mi. southwest of Hollywood Boulevard, and .4 mi southeast of East Rochelle Ave.
DRAINAGE AREA - Indeterminate.
REVISIONS HISTORY - Elevation of gage revised 03/03/2017 based on single-base OPUS-Rapid Static level 2 survey. The maximum gage height and discharge for water year 2005 were revised on June 17, 2021, based on transcription errors. 
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - May 1979 to Sep. 1983, Nov. 1983 to May 1984, Sep. 1984 to Dec. 2015, and Mar. 2017 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage is 1,636.87 ft above National American Vertical Datum of 1988, from level 2 rapid static survey. See WDR NV-97-1 for history of changes prior to 1997 water year. Prior to Nov. 21, 1997, at datum 1.0 ft higher. From Nov. 21, 1997 to Mar. 3, 2017 at datum 22.15 ft. higher 215 ft upstream of current location.
REMARKS - Prior to March 2017, at higher flows, some water could bypass the gage due to overbank flow upstream. Many detention basin diversions upstream of gage. Records fair except for estimated discharges and discharges greater than 450 ft³/s, which are poor.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 18,700 ft³/s, Sep. 2, 2023, gage height, 15.14 ft; minimum daily, 45 ft³/s, Aug. 22, 1979.
