LOCATION - Lat 40°27'39", long 111°28'19" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SE 1/4 NE 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.22, T.4 S., R.4 E., Wasatch County, UT, Hydrologic Unit 16020203, on left bank 3 ft above capacity elevation of Deer Creek Reservoir, 200 ft downstream from culvert on State Highway 1 in town of Charleston and 3.5 mi south of Midway.
DRAINAGE AREA - 50.1 mi².

GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 5,419.00 ft. above NAVD of 1988 from a Level II GNSS survey conducted on March 19, 2021.
REMARKS - Records are generally fair except for estimates, which are poor. Small transbasin diversions from Strawberry River Basin drain into Daniels Creek. Flow also affected by irrigation diversions above station and return flow from irrigated areas.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 274 ft³/s, May 23, 1995, gage height, 3.92 ft; maximum gage height, 5.94ft, May 8, 2017 (due to aggraded stream channel); no flow at times most years.
