LOCATION - Lat 38°48'49.37", long 119°02'52.77" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NW 1/4 SW 1/4 sec.14, T.11 N., R.26 E., Lyon County, NV, Hydrologic Unit 16050301, on right bank, 0.9 mi upstream from head of Strosnider ditch, 12 mi southeast of Mason, and 13.5 mi southeast of Yerington.
DRAINAGE AREA - 1,100 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - The peak gage height and streamflow for water year 1990 was deleted on July 21, 2021 as they were likely not the peak of the water year during the partial years of data collection.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Jan. 1947 to current year (irrigation season only, 1979 to 1994).
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 4,574.10 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, from topographic map. Prior to Oct. 24, 1957, near present site at datum 0.56 ft higher. Oct. 24, 1957, to Apr. 3, 1974, at site 400 ft downstream at same datum.
REMARKS - Diversions for irrigation above station.
