LOCATION - Lat 27°26'54.5", long 80°40'09.13" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SE 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.07, T.35 S., R.37 E., St. Lucie County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03090202, 85 ft north of State Road 68, 9.8 mi east of U.S. Highway 441 and 20 mi west of Fort Pierce.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 18 ft. Upper casing diameter 6 in; top of first opening 13 ft, bottom of last opening 18 ft. Gravel-packed 13 to 18 ft.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 28 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: Top of base, 30.71 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, Jan. 22, 1993 to present. Land-surface datum is 26.7 feet above North American Vertical Datum of 1988.
PERIOD OF RECORD - January 1950 to April 1979 (daily), May 1979 to December 1993 (monthly), January 1993 to current year.
GAGE - Satellite data collection platform with pressure transducer.
COOPERATION - South Florida Water Management District.
REMARKS - Records of water levels prior to October 1950 are available in files of the U.S. Geological Survey. The figures of water levels as elevation in feet NGVD, prior to October 1990 are considered to be in error.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Highest water level recorded, 28.66 ft NGVD, Sept. 27, 2004; lowest measured, 22.62 ft NGVD, May 22, 1986.
