LOCATION - Lat 28°25'32", long 81°09'56" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NE 1/4 SW 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.01, T.24 S., R.31 E., Orange County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03080101, in Cocoa well field, on south side of Wewahootee Road, 5.1 mi west of State Highway 15, 2.5 mi west of Magnolia Ranch headquarters, and 9.7 mi northeast of Narcoossee. Owner: U.S. Geological Survey.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 300 ft. Upper casing diameter 4 in; top of first opening 226 ft, bottom of last opening 300 ft. Drilled, observation, artesian well, cased to 226 ft.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 75.91 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: Top of casing, 80.5 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, Jul. 6, 1961 to Oct. 1, 1977; Top of casing, 79.41 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, Oct. 1, 1977 to Sep. 5, 1990; Top of casing, 79.54 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, Nov. 1, 1990 to Oct. 26, 2004; Top of casing, 79.48 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, Nov. 19, 2004 to Apr. 24, 2016; Top of flange, 79.43 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, Apr. 25, 2016 to present.
