LOCATION - Lat 28°26'17.3", long 82°38'11.1" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NE 1/4 SW 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.31, T.23 S., R.17 E., Hernando County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03100207, 300 ft east of U. S. Highway 19, and 1.7 mi northeast of Aripeka.
REVISIONS HISTORY - The figures of water level as elevation, in feet NGVD, Oct. 1, 1996, to Sept. 30, 1997, are in error. Correct elevations may be obtained by using datum correction of -0.17 ft.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 510 ft. Upper casing diameter 4 in; top of first opening 48 ft, bottom of last opening 510 ft. Drilled, observation well.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 20.96 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: Top of coupling, 1.77 ft above land-surface datum, UNDEFINED BEGIN DATE to present. Land-surface datum is 20.39 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1929.
PERIOD OF RECORD - April 1988 to September 2004 (periodic); October 2004 to September 2011 (discontinued).
GAGE - Water-stage recorder--60-minute interval.
COOPERATION - This gage is monitored in cooperation with the Southwest Florida Water Management District.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Highest water level measured, 15.88 ft NGVD, Sept. 4, 2003; lowest measured, 9.00 ft NGVD, June 7, 1991.
