LOCATION - Lat 35°38'37.7", long 89°49'33.4" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Lauderdale County, TN, Hydrologic Unit 08010100, 1.1 mi north of State Highway 87 off Crutcher Lake Rd, at Fort Pillow State Park. Owner: Tennessee Division of Geology and U.S. Geological Survey.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 879 ft. Upper casing diameter 6 in; top of first opening 869 ft, bottom of last opening 879 ft. Drilled artesian observation well, diameter 8 to 6 to 3 in.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 437.05 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: TOP OF 6-INCH STEEL CASING, 2.80 ft above land-surface datum, Nov. 10, 1965 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - November 1965 to current year. Periodic measurements November 1965 to February 1973, analog record February 1973 to July 1976, analog to digital (ADR) record July 1976 to April 1996, digital record April 1996 to present.
GAGE - Periodic measurements by USGS personnel and data collection platform -- 60-minute interval.
REMARKS - Records are generally good.
