GROUNDWATER RECORDS
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 1,335 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: Undefined, 2.5 ft above land-surface datum, Jan. 5, 2001 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - January 4, 2001 to present.
GAGE - From 01/04/2001 to present, the water level recording device is a DCP with telemetry capability. From 01/04/2001 to 12/14/2004, the water level measuring device was a float and encoder. From 12/14/2004 to present, the water level measuring device is a vented, submersible pressure transducer.
COOPERATION - The data from 01/05/2001 to present is furnished by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources (MDNR). The record for this period has been processed by USGS and MDNR.
REMARKS -

Data from 01/04/2001 to 05/14/2008 has been processed by the USGS with limited field water level measurements (10 measurements) during the period to verify the recorded water levels. This record is considered fair. Data from 05/15/2008 to 12/07/2009 is good based on 5 water level measurements made during the period and is accurate to +/- 0.25 ft. Data from 12/07/2009 to 08/09/2010 is good based on 3 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.3 ft. Data from 12/07/2009 to 01/05/2011 is fair based on 5 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.4 ft. The pressure transducer was set too deep during this period causing the device to be outside its intended pressure range causing the recorded water levels to drift excessively. The transducer was raised on 01/05/2011 which corrected the problem. Data from 01/05/2011 to 06/15/2011 is good based on 4 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.1 ft. The data from 06/15/2011 to 10/08/2013 is good based on 4 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.10 ft. The data from 10/09/2013 to 10/13/2014 is good based on 5 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.10 ft. The data from 10/14/2014 to 05/31/2016 is good based on 5 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.10 ft. The data from 06/01/2016 to 03/08/2017 is good based on 4 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.10 ft. The data from 03/09/2017 to 10/24/2017 is good based on 5 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.10 ft. The data from 10/25/2017 to 05/15/2018 is good based on 1 water level measurement made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.10 ft. Data is spotty from 12/04/2018 to 12/12/2018 due to missed transmissions. The data from 12/12/2018 to 04/02/2019 is fair based on 2 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.10 ft. Data is spotty from 12/12/2018 to 01/08/2019 and missing from 03/09/2019 to 04/03/2019 due to missed transmissions. The data from 04/03/2019 to 09/16/2019 is fair based on 1 water level measurement made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.10 ft. Data is spotty from 04/28/2019 to 05/05/2019 and missing from 08/25/2019 to 09/17/2019 due to missed transmissions.
