REVISIONS HISTORY -
Revisions: Land-surface datum was updated to 551.59 ft NAVD88 on May 22, 2023, as determined by a GNSS survey by Missouri DNR. Land-surface datum was previously published as 548.30 ft NGVD29 from topographic map. Discrete water-level measurements prior to May 22, 2023, are referenced to the original datum.

Data from 04/19/1956 to 09/30/2008 was revised after it was previously approved. A measuring point height correction of 10.0 ft was applied to this period, but it was discovered that the measuring point height is 7.7 ft. To resolve this 2.3 ft was added to the period described.

GROUNDWATER RECORDS

DATUM - Land-surface datum is 551.59 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: unknown, 7.7 ft above land-surface datum, Apr. 20, 1956 to present.  

PERIOD OF RECORD - April 25, 1956 to present.

GAGE - Stevens model A-35 chart recorder installed April 22, 1956. March 21, 2000 to present; DCP with float, encoder, and telemetry capability were installed as the water level recording and measuring devices.

REMARKS - Furnished record rated fair (April 25, 1056 to March 20, 2000) because no water level measurements are available to verify daily values. This data has been archived by Missouri Department of Natural Resources (MDNR) and is not available for verification. Data from March 21, 2000 to September 30, 2008 fair based on 14 water level measurements made during this period to verify recorded water levels. Record from 10/01/2008 to 11/01/2010 is good based on 8 water level measurements made during the period to verify the data. The record is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. Record from 11/01/2010 to 09/07/2011 is good based on 5 water level measurements made during the period to verify the data. The record is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. Record from 09/07/2011 to 08/12/2012 is good based on 3 water level measurements made during the period to verify the data. The record is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. Record from 08/13/2012 to 08/05/2013 is good based on 3 water level measurements made during the period to verify the data. The record is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 08/06/2013 to 01/26/2015 is good based on 4 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 11/22/2016 to 04/23/2018 is good based on 2 water level measurements made during the period to verify the data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 04/24/2018 to 02/25/2019 is good based on 1 water level measurement made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft.
